Abstract: The DEFENSE AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (DAQMS) is a user-friendly database system that tracks data pertinent to air emissions control. DAQMS was designed to encourage a proactive approach to environmental compliance by giving the user the ability to monitor all air media environmental reporting as well as source operating log requirements. The DAQMS program is divided into separate source modules. These sources are Air Ground Equipment (AGE), Abrasive Cleaning, Boilers, Coatings, Dry Cleaning, Fiberglass, Fuel Loading Racks, Gas Stations, Incinerators, Internal Combustion Engines, Jet Engine Test Cells, Non destructive Inspection (NDI), Plating, Solvent Cleaning/Degreasing, Thermal Metal Spray, and Waste Solvent Reclamation. Each module is responsible for gathering its own operational data and complying with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines.
