Abstract: This document presents recommended changes to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular No. 150/5320-6A, Airport Paving, relative to design and eyaluation of airport pavements subject to traffic resulting from operation of the Boeing 747 and/or Lockheed C-5A aircraft. Criteria for flexible and rigid pavements were prepared in accordance with procedures developed as a result of an engineering investigation of the effects of traffic of multiple-wheel heavy gear loads.
