Abstract: USACE is responsible for maintaining safe navigation in Marina del Rey harbor. To restore the channel to design depths and maintain safe passage, maintenance dredging is required in the Entrance Channel. For this dredge cycle, dredging is only needed in Areas 1 through 6 and the North Jetty Shoal; Areas 7 through 9 are at or below design depth and do not require dredging at this time. The proposed dredging is a federal project.
