Detailed Project Report and Environmental Assessmenten_US
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), in partnership with the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC), undertook this feasibility study to evaluate the existing navigation conditions in Point Judith Harbor, Narragansett, Rhode Island. The study was conducted to determine the feasibility of Federal involvement in modifying the existing Federal Navigation Project (FNP) for the benefit of commercial fishing vessels. The study concludes that modifications to the existing project in the form of channel widening and channel extension would improve navigational efficiency and increase safety for the port’s commercial fishing fleet.en_US
