Abstract: A field experiment to investigate shoreline impacts due to shallow draft watercraft was conducted along the Intracoastal Waterway (IWW) within the Matanzas River estuary in St. Johns County, Florida (29.681778N, 81.224148W). The location was selected due to the presence of an actively eroding scarp and the relatively high instances of vessel traffic. Instruments to measure pressure and impact forces were deployed along an exposed section of the IWW in September of 2020. The available datasets include normal forces on the scarp, near-shore pressure time series, and currents in net_cdf data format
