Description: Special report
Abstract: Commercially available products used for conservation and restoration of stone monuments were evaluated for potential use in interim repairs of concrete navigation structures damaged by cycles of freezing and thawing. The investigation was conducted on laboratory specimens of concrete, and test method ASTM C 666 was used as the basis for the evaluation. It was concluded that the products probably were not suitable for practical application because of the size and dimensions of the structures, and because of the nature of the damage.
