Summary: Ice thickness data on rivers and lakes in the U.S., Canada and environs were compiled from the literature. A number of annual ice thickness curves for one or two years as well as snow depth data are given for 53 stations in the U.S., Canada and Alaska. Six average ice thickness curves are also given for smaller geographical regions. Appended is a bibliography containing 566 references, some with brief annotations.
