Contract Report-
Abstract: This document reports finding of an investigation into the use of statistical methods for geotechnical engineering aspects of new dam projects. The intent was to identify specific statistical methodology which could be beneficially adopted by the Corps of Engineers on future projects. As a vehicle for investigating statistical methods, the study used an existing U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project as a test case. Data from that project provided the substantive material upon which statistical methodology was exercised. NOTE: This file is large. Allow your browser several minutes to download the file.-
