Description: Technical Report
Summary: A method is presented for the solution of a narrow free infinite wedge on an elastic foundation loaded with a uniformly distributed load for a distance r from the corner of the wedge. This problem is important in the analysis of cracked ice sheets. The differential equation which describes this and the solution for the equation are presented. Work is continuing for obtaining numerical results for practical application.
