Abstract: This technical note summarizes the design procedure given by Weisman and Lennon (in preparation) for fluidizer systems to be used in channel maintenance and sand bypassing. Weisman and Lennon (1992) provides similar, but less up-to-date information. The main emphasis of this technical note is on design of the fluidizer pipe itself with suggestions concerning other aspects of the system.
