Description: | Technical Report Abstract: A method for the separation and detection of three common industrial and rnilitaxy hydrazines in environmental matrices has been developed. The ammonium bases of hydrazine, monomethyl hydrazine, and unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine are separated by ion chromatography. Detection of the analytes is achieved by pulsed amperometric detection in alkaline solution at a gold working electrode. The method presented provides a fast and cost-effective means of analyzing hydrazines in environmental samples. |
