Description: | Technical report From the Preface: This paper is intended as a guide for the preparation of report material in proper form. While many engineers will not have time to familiarize themselves with all parts of this paper, nor would they be interested in the mechanics of the format and typing, they might wish to become familiar with the general arrangement of headings, illustrations, and other details which fall within their province as authors. It is expected, however , that editors and typists will become thoroughly familiar with the contents of this guide, and that typists will undertake on their own initiative to type copy in a manner consistent with these requirements. However, typists should never change the wording or punctuation of a report without first consulting the engineer or editor responsible for the report . |
