Abstract: A simple method for comparing vehicle vibration over various terrain has been developed for ride estimates. The vehicle Is specified by three numbers and the terrain by two. These numbers can be measured or calculated and tabulated for a variety of vehicles and a variety of terrain. Simple arithmetic allows an estimate of the vertical vibration In each of three frequency bands for any given vehicle over any given terrain.
