Abstract: Researchers of the Experimental Engineering Division did field studies related to pavements, frost heave, frost susceptibility, energy balance, and radiation. These materials include historic reports on the subject from various agencies (dated between 1941 and1958). Also included are the hand-written and typed data sets, photographs, slides, documentation and correspondence related to research done in Lebanon New Hampshire (1960s); Albany, New York (dated 1978-1992);and Winchender, Massachusetts (dated 1978-1992).
