Abstract: This report provides a description of foundation conditions and materials encountered during construction of the Alamo Dam and appurtenances. The records and data describe the geology and exploration for the project. The foundation conditions, treatment of the foundation and the construction features of the main dam, outlet works and spillway are also described in detail in the text and on drawings and photographs. Other pertinent data relating to the construction of the dam can be found in General Design Memorandum No. 3 Alamo Reservoir and "As Built" plans and specifications.
