Abstract: This document supplements the Environmental Assessment (EA) entitled: Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact: Control of Eurasian Water Milfoil, Fort Peck Project Area, Various Counties, Montana (May 2011 EA). The May 2011 EA disclosed the potential environmental impacts resulting from the removal of Eurasian watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum) in various locations of the Fort Peck Reservoir, Montana. This Supplemental EA defines the potential environmental effects of the proposed project, to remove Eurasian Watermilfoil through the chemical use of aquatically approved penoxsulam and flumioxazin, in addition to the plan design created under the May 2011 EA and the 2011 Montana’s Statewide Strategic Plan for Invasive Aquatic Plant Management and Resource Protection (Strategic Plan).
