Abstract: | The overarching goal of the project is to restore the aquatic and riparian resources of the Mill River to a healthy, viable, and self-maintaining river system. Where possible habitat restoration proposals take into consideration the requirements for ecological function, public open space, and recreational amenities for the city of Stamford. The immediate focus is the restoration of the reach of the Mill River flowing through downtown Stamford including the Mill River Park. |
