Abstract: | August 2009 guidance from USACE headquarters, implementing Section 2039 of WRDA 2007, requires that ecosystem restoration projects include plans for monitoring success and adaptively managing ecosystem restoration projects. This Technical Note (TN) summarizes the state of science and practice for adaptive management. In no way should it be perceived as expression of Civil Works policy. It is expected that readers will consult formal Civil Works policy, regulations, and guidance for details regarding required/acceptable practices. |
