Abstract: PURPOSE: This technical note summarizes the development and application of mass-rearing techniques using ponds at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Lewisville Aquatic Ecosystem Research Facility (LAERF), Lewisville, TX for the biological control agent Cyrtobagous salviniae Calder and Sands for use on Salvinia molesta Mitchell. Information is provided on rearing methods, releases, and associated costs.
