Abstract: This section presents the basic criteria for the design of the irrigation structures identified in the Bayou Meto Basin Project feasibility phase. Approval of this GRR will become the basis for initiation of the Design Document Report and plans and specifications for the various structures in this section. Sufficient engineering and design was performed to enable refinement of the project features and prepare the baseline cost estimate. Except for drop structures and weirs, the structural components and configurations of the support structures were adopted from the final design documentation of the Grand Prairie Area Demonstration Project.
