Abstract: | This LCA Study focuses on “lessons learned” from previous Louisiana coastal restoration efforts, the existing Coast 2050 restoration strategies, and the best available science and technology to develop a tentatively selected plan that addresses the most critical ecological needs of the coastal area and has features that can be implemented within the next 5-10 years, demonstration projects to resolve scientific and engineering uncertainty, and large scale studies of long-range feature concepts. |
