Based upon information provided by SLFPA-W and Plaquemines Parish, the USACE, Mississippi Valley Division, New Orleans District is ensuring compliance with applicable Federal laws, executive orders, regulations, policies and ordinances, and in that capacity is soliciting input regarding the requesters’ proposed alteration, referred to herein as the requesters’ preferred alternative. This Environmental Assessment has been prepared based upon information provided by the requester, to analyze the impacts of altering multiple reaches of the WBV Project by raising the elevation of certain reaches of the WBV levee system.
