| Abstract: | The purpose of this 934 Report is to determine if continued Federal participation in future nourishments for the authorized Jupiter Carlin Segment of the Palm Beach County, Florida, Shore Protection Project, are economically justified. Section 934 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 authorizes the completion of this report to extend the current 10-year Federal participation that expired in 2005 for 50 years. This Real Estate Plan supports the Section 934 Report which will serve as the decision document to extend the period of Federal participation to 50 years from the date of initial construction, or 2045. This report is preliminary and is intended for planning purposes only. |
