dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted for Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (HQUSACE) under Project 4A162720AT23, "Basic Research in Military Construction," Work Unit EC8, "Advanced Visualization." The work was performed by the Engineering Processes Branch (CF-N), of the Facilities Division (CF), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL). Part of the data gathering for this study was done by the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (UIUC) under contract DACA88-96-D-0005-05 (UIUC 1-5- 28789) with Patricia M. Jones, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. The CERL Principal Investigator was Beth A. Brucker. Michael P. Case is Chief, CECER-CF-N, and L. Michael Golish is Operations Chief, CECER-CF. The technical editor was William J. Wolfe, Information Technology Laboratory. The Acting Director of CERL is Dr. Alan W. Moore. CERL is an element of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Director of ERDC is Dr. James R. Houston and the Commander is COL James S.
