Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine if it would be economically justified to continue Federal participation in future nourishments of the Lee County, Florida, Shore Protection Project, Gasparilla Island Segment. This Real Estate Plan is written to the same level of detail and supports the Final Integrated Section 934 Report and Environmental Assessment, which will serve as the decision document to extend Federal participation to 50 years or extend the current 10 years Federal participation by an additional 40 years through December 2056. This report is preliminary and is intended for planning purposes only.
