Special Report-
Abstract: This document provides Army Natural Resource Managers with general guidance on wetlands ecological principles and regulatory requirements that must be considered in the implementation of their installation’s Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP). Among other things, this document attempts to provide an overview of the regulatory program of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding wetlands. The objective of the handbook is to help land managers better fulfill their obligations for development and implementation of their installation’s INRMP, and to help installations comply with applicable wetlands laws and regulations. Although this overview includes numerous quotations and citations of Federal regulations, the regulatory guidance is general in nature and should not be regarded as legal advice applicable to site-specific situations.-
