Abstract: This Coastal and Hydraulics Engineering Technical Note (CHETN) describes the development of a computer model to examine flooding scenarios with pre-defined storm surge and extreme rainfall due to tropical systems, using the Gridded Surface Subsurface Hydrologic Analysis (GSSHA) numerical modeling system. This model serves as a platform for future deployment of GSSHA models on large basins in this type of setting with enhanced Military Hydrologic Simulator capabilities.
