Abstract: U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) researchers are required to document and publish the results of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) funded research and development projects, both for purposes of public accountability and technology transfer. The ERDC publication series provides one avenue for researchers to create professional quality publications that meet the demands of sponsoring organizations and regulatory requirements. This updated author’s guide, which supersedes ERDC/ITL SR-04-1, guides principal investigators or lead writers through all phases of document preparation.
