Description: | Miscellaneous Paper From the Preface: In connection with its activities as an advisory agency to the various Corps of Engineer offices on design criteria for hurricane protection, the Board was requested by the North Atlantic Division of the Corps of Engineers to make preliminary estimates of hurricane surge elevations in the Chesapeake Bay region for the Norfolk, Washington, and Baltimore Districts of the Corps. This report presents the results of these computations, and indicates the methods employed. |
