Abstract: | This report was prepared by Mr. Gerald W. Turnage of the Research Projects Group, Mobility Research Branch, Mobility and Environmental Division, U. S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station. The report is essentially a thesis submitted by Mr. Turnage in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Statistics to the Faculty of Florida State University, and is a study concerned with the statistical evaluation of results of tests with a single model track.The study described herein was conducted under DA Project 1T062103A046, "Trafficability and Mobility Research," Task 03, "Mobility Fundamentals and Model Studies," under the sponsorship and guidance of the Research, Development and Engineering Directorate, U. S. Army Materiel Command. The study was accomplished under the general direction of Messrs. W. G. Shockley and S. J. Knight, Chief and Assistant Chief, respectively, of the Mobility and Environmental Division. COL Levi A. Brown, CE, and COL Ernest D. Peixotto, CE, were Directors of the Waterways Experiment Station during the period of preparation and publication of this report. Mr. F. R. Brown was Technical Director. |
