| Description: | Special Report Summary: This report is concerned with flexural tests on beams of compacted snow conducted at the Snow, Ice and Permafrost Research Establishment. These tests were made in conjunction with the Engineer Research and Development Laboratories' program to evaluate, on a rational basis, the load-carrying capacity of compacted snow sections. The tests were conducted during the period February - July 1953. |
