dc.description.abstract | Synopsis: This memorandum describes the calibration of the 20-inch by 10.333-inch Infileo venture meter. The calibration was made to insure maximum accuracy in all measurements made with the venture meter. Results indicate a meter coefficient of 0.97 for general use; the exact relation of this coefficient to Reynolds' number is shown by Plate 5. A description of the installation and operation of the 6-inch venture meters is included in Appendix A. | en_US |
