| Description: | Technical memorandum Preface: The authority for the work reported herein was contained in a letter from the Office, Chief of Engineers, dated 17 October 1949, subject, "Civil Works Investigations - Authorization of Item CW 601 Research in Mass Concrete' for Fiscal Year 1950," par. 2e of which was entitled "Determination of the Effect of High Frequency (12,000) Vibrators on the Possible Loss of Air in Concrete Mixtures." This investigation was performed under the supervision of Herbert K. Cook, Chief, Concrete Research Division of the Waterways Experiment Station, by E. A. Spuehlcr and R. A. Dunkerley during the spring and summer of 1950. This report was prepared by E. A. Spuehler, K. Mather, and T. B. Kennedy. |
