dc.descriptionPreface: The study reported herein was performed in accordance with Addenda Nos. 9 and 10 to "Instructions and Outline for Field Moisture Content Investigation" (Fiscal Years 1952 and 1953, respectively), and Addendum No. 4 to "Instructions and Outline for Condition Surveys of Existing Pavements" for Fiscal Year 1954. The field and laboratory work was accomplished by the technicians of the General Investigation Section of the Flexible Pavement Branch of the Waterways Experiment Station. This report was prepared by Mr. J. F. Redus. The work was under the general supervision of Messrs. O. B. Ray, C.R. Foster, and W. J. Turnbull.-
