Preface: Authority for this study is contained in eighth endorsement dated 21 April 1955 from the Office, Chief of Engineers, to a letter dated 28 July 1954 from the Engineer Research and Development Laboratories, subject, "Request for Project, 'Plastic-Glass Fiber Reinforcement for Reinforced and Prestressed Concrete.'" This report was- prepared under the supervision of Thomas B. Kennedy, Chief, Concrete Division, by Mr. Bryant Mather, Chief, Special Investigations Branch, Concrete Division, Waterways Experiment Station, assisted by Mr. R. V. Tye.
