Introduction: The Bayou Cocodrie drainage structure will be constructed through the Tensas-Cocodrie Levee at Sta 624-1-29 on the east bank of Bayou Cocodrie about three miles west of Shay, Louisiana. The site lies between a reach of Bayou Cocodrie and Grand Cut-Off Bayou; the Red River is about 2000 ft vest and south or the site.
