Preface:The additional (second phase) hydraulic model tests of Grand Marais Harbor were authorized in a letter dated 4 February 1942 from the District Engineer, Duluth District, to the Waterways Experiment Station, and the tests were conducted during the period 4 February-16 August 1942. This report supplements TM 186-1, dated December 1941, which described the first series of tests on the Grand Marais Harbor model. Personnel of the Hydraulics Division actively connected with this study were Messrs. G. B. Fenwick, J. C. Arnold and J. F. Easterby
