Preface: This report is a resume of studies conducted to develop procedures for testing membrane-forming compounds for curing concrete. This work was conducted in part on samples submitted by field offices for testing in connection with proposed use on specific projects, and in part on samples obtained from manufacturers and tested in accordance with authority provided under Civil Works Investigations, Item CW 600. The studies were performed under the supervision of Herbert K. Cook, Chief, Concrete Research Division, Waterways Experiment Station. This report was prepared by Leonard Pepper and Clara F. Derrington.
