dc.descriptionIntroduction: This memorandum constitutes a final report on the results of tests conducted at the U. S. Waterways Experiment Station on a 1-to-36-scale model of one of the Bluestone Dam power penstocks. All details of the model elements were fabricated in accordance with drawings furnished by the Huntington District Office. Tests were confined to the penstocks as initially designed, and no studies of the effect of refinements in the elements of the intake, penstock, or scroll case were made here also are presented in this report the results of similar tests conducted on a 1-to-36-scale model of the Norris penstock, these data being used to evaluate the results of the Bluestone tests.-
