Description: | Technical memorandum General: The Richmond Harbor model study was conducted at the U. S. Waterways Experiment Station for the purpose of determining the most economical effective plan for the elimination of shoaling in that reach of the James River which constitutes the harbor bordering on the water front of the city of Richmond, Virginia. The project channel to be maintained along this water front is 200 ft. in width and 18 ft. in depth. |
