Abstract: The purpose of this report is to present the results of a condition survey performed at Mather Air Force Base (MAFB), California, during 31 October-3 November 1972. The following two major areas of interest were considered in this condition survey: (A.) The structural condition of the primary airfield pavements. (B.) Condition of pavement repairs and the types of maintenance materials that have been used at this airfield. (C.) This report is limited to a presentation of visual observations of the pavement conditions, discussion of the observations, and pertinent remarks with regard to the performance of the pavements. No physical tests of the pavements, foundations, or patching materials were performed during this survey.
