Description: Miscellaneous Paper
Abstract: This reports the results obtained from a multiple regression analysis that was conducted on seismic data collected during field measurement of motion originating from an impulse source. Equations that predict the maximum distance at which a ground seismic intrusion detector (GSID) can detect a man walking are given. The independent variable in these equations is the thickness of the soil overlying a hard layer.
