Abstract: | PURPOSE: This Coastal and Hydraulics Engineering Technical Note (CHETN) presents BeachTools, an ArcViewTM 9.1 Geographic Information System (GIS) extension designed to identify and quantitatively establish the position of shorelines and other coastal features from aerial imagery. This CHETN is a revision of the original BeachTools extension produced in ArcView 3.2 (Hoeke et al. 2001). |
