Abstract: Head losses through the Red Run Drain Pollution Control Structure were determined for a range of discharges and tailwaters. Two 1:20-scale models were used to determine the head losses through two vee-shaped weir and baffle structures. These results were combined with calculations made using Manning's equation to determine the total head losses. Modifications to the structure were tested to determine their effect on head losses.
