| Abstract: | Side-soan scan sonar surveys were conducted at Calumet Harbor, Illinois, and Burns Harbor, Indiana, on 24-25 September 1985, to assess the condition of the breakwaters and the protective riprap. Discussed herein are data analyses from these surveys. Also presented is a discussion of the theory and operation of side-scan sonar. |
