Abstract: The Ottauquechee River is located in west-central Vermont. This river was chosen for a physical hydraulic model using real ice, The model was built at a scale of 1:50 horizontal and 1:20 vertical. After problems with modeling bed roughness and operating the pump system were overcome, the tests went smoothly.
