| Description: | Special Report Abstract: A building materials sampling program for the Cincinnati, Ohio, region was conducted in January and February 1985 to examine the types and amounts of building surface materials exposed to acid deposition. The stratified, systematic, unaligned random sampling approach was used to generate sample points across four sampling frame areas. A minimum of 70 sample points was examined per sampling frame to yield a total sample size of 387 points. Building sizes, surface materials, roof characteristics, roof-mounted apparatus, chimneys, gutters, downspouts and fences were recorded. This report provides an initial summary of the data collected. |
