Description: Special Report
Introduction: Steady-state and transient methods are used to measure the thermal conductivity of materials. Transient methods are also used to measure thermal diffusivity. Since a complete review of measurement techniques is beyond the scope of this work, we have confined our review to a brief description of several techniques specifically applicable to the measurement of thermal properties of soils and insulating materials.
