Description: | Special Report Abstract: This report summarizes the processes that cause and conditions that contribute to bank erosion along reservoirs, lakes, rivers and coasts. It suggests measurements, techniques and measurement frequencies for four different levels of bank erosion study. Details on specific procedures for a particular technique must be obtained from references cited. There are neither standard measurements to make nor standard methods to use during erosion studies, but this report can be useful to investigators selecting an approach for future work. |
