Abstract: Alkali-silica reaction products from six different concretes were examined by X-ray diffraction and light microscope, and four of the gels were chemically analyzed. Most of the reaction products were crystalline in considerable part and were composed of one or more of four phases. Two of the phases were tentatively identified as variants on CSH(I) and CSH(II).
